This section of Huangyaguan Great Wall used to be 54km (33.5 miles) in length with 52 guide-towers and 14 beacon-towers connected to Jiangjunguan Pass Great Wall (now in Beijing region) in the east and to Malanguan Pass Great Wall, extended to Panjiakou Pass Great Wall (Tangshan Hebei Province) in the west. It was initially built in 556 AD in Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577).

The site is about 130 kilometers (a 2-hours drive) from downtown Tianjin or Beijing. Ride to and from the Tianjin great wall using a private, spacious air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver.
Great Wall Private VIP Tour Itinerary;
Our great wall private VIP tour starts at 8:00 am. We will pick you up from the Tianjin Cruise Port or any locations mentioned above.
We then drive directly to the Huangyaguan Great Wall site with one-stop halfway between both places for a 10 minutes restroom break.
Once on-site, you will have around 4-hours to hike along the great wall, browse the souvenir market, have a quiet picnic, or sit on a bench in the pine tree garden to admire the magnificent mountain scenery and contemplate the 2,500 years of the Chinese Great Wall man-made history.
We are more than happy to arrange a lunch in a local Chinese restaurant near the Great Wall site for an additional fee.
We then return you to your Tianjin/Beijing hotel or drop-off point in the late afternoon.

Reservation fee:
The reservation fee is around 20% to reserve your tour date(s) and is fully refundable ten days before the scheduled Private VIP Tour event date(s) and non-refundable within ten days. Contact Alison for PayPal information.
Alison will make a detailed schedule according to the client’s private VIP tour requirements. She will then be able to make the necessary reservation for sites tickets, transportation (bus/subway/car/train/taxi/etc.), and restaurant, so there are no surprises during the private VIP tour date(s).
