A symbol of ancient Chinese civilization, the Great Wall of China is one of the world’s oldest and most magnificent man-made scenes. Given its outstanding architectural achievement and remarkable historical influence, the Great Wall was listed as a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site in 1987, China’s first of its kind.
Beijing is the best destination to admire the Great Wall of China. The most famous Great Wall sections are located in its suburban areas, including the well-preserved Badaling and Mutianyu, the renovated Juyonguan, Jinshanling and Simatai, and wild Jiankou and Gubeikou. By car, they are all located within 1 to 2-hours away from downtown Beijing.
In Chinese history, Beijing was not only one of the ancient capitals but also one of the most strategic cities in the north. To defend their territory, many rulers have actively ordered to build Great Wall here.
The Great Wall in Beijing totals 573 kilometers (356 miles). Those from Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the last dynasty engaged in Great Wall construction, amounted to 526 kilometers (327 miles). They are distributed in Pinggu, Miyun, Huairou, Yanqing, Changping, and Mentougou, Huangyaguan.

The site is about (1 to 2-hours drive) from downtown Beijing. Ride to and from the Beijing great wall using a private, spacious air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver.
Private VIP Tour Itinerary;
Our private VIP tour starts at 8:00 am. We pick you up from the Beijing/Tianjin International Airports, or Tianjin Cruise Port, or any Train Stations or any hotel location in Tianjin or Beijing area. We then drive directly to the Beijing great wall site with one-stop halfway between both places for a 10 minutes restroom break.
Once on-site, you will have around 4-5 hours to hike along the great wall, browse the souvenir market, have a quiet picnic.
We are more than happy to arrange a lunch in a local Chinese restaurant near the Great Wall site for an additional fee.
We then return you to your hotel or any other location in the late afternoon.

Reservation fee:
The reservation fee is around 20% to reserve your tour date(s) and is fully refundable ten days before the scheduled Group VIP Tour event date(s) and non-refundable within ten days. Contact Alison for PayPal information.
Alison will make a detailed schedule according to the client’s group VIP tour requirements. She will then be able to make the necessary reservation for sites tickets, transportation (bus/subway/car/train/taxi/etc.), and restaurant, so there are no surprises during the group VIP tour date(s).
